Loosing pregnancy weight.

Yes i am lucky! I didn't gain too much weight during pregnancy. I was 52 kg when i got pregnant and after pregnancy was weighing 63 kg. I didn't follow any diet  because i am not good with diets. After giving birth i was eating a lot of junk food. Getting time to cook was very hard so reaching for something easy had become very common.
At my six weeks appointment with the GP was told to start exercising whenever i wanted and after two weeks when my daughter was 8 weeks old I did start doing a little exercise .
The main reason for me loosing weight quickly is having 2 babies under the age of two. Its very hard to put exercise in a very demanding   daily routine but i decided to try.
Exercise..I started exercising everyday for 10 mins the first week. The second week I was going to exercise 5 days a week for 30 mins a day for the next five weeks. Every time i would turn the TV on and play exercising You Tube videos, it encouraged me to keep doing more exercising every time.
Breastfeeding.. Keep breastfeeding its natures way to help your body loose weight. I breastfed because i really wanted to and it meant so much to me and not to loose weight.
Healthy foods.. Getting to eat healthy made me feel very well about myself because I knew i was giving  my body the right nutrients. Smoothies , lots of fruits , green salads etc but still didn't stop junk food completely. I needed a lot of energy to get through the day.
Water... You should be drinking a lot of water specially if breastfeeding because you don't want to get dehydrated. I would drink a bottle of 2L per  day
Walking...  Walks are great, having a park nearby has been great for me specially because i would take my children there , let my son run around and get myself some fresh air.

Things to do on a rainy day!

Yesterday was a rainy day. We were all stuck in the house all day so I had to fill the day with activities to entertain my two little ones. When we woke up my son wanted me to read him his books and other rhymes he loves . He wants me to sing rhymes many times during the day too. After breakfast they got to watch their favourite programmes on TV while I was doing the dishes and putting things to order. I had run the washing machine the previous night and he helped me unload it and hang the in the drying rack . He absolutely loves helping me  and he knows all the clothes who belong to so he says the name  every time he gives them to me to hang. Being in the house all day is going to be very messy so you have to be prepared for that. We like moving from one room to the other where we have different toys and books . Building blocks is a great way to make my son concentrate for some time while my daughter plays with music toys like dog by fisher prices and other soft toys. Another thing to do that we didn't is  to put a rain coat and boots on and go out when rain stops. Its  a great way to fill the day and of course very enjoyable for them.
